Overview
Workspaces
Classes
A class is a group of workspaces with its own folder. Make the class first, then the workspaces in it.

Rosject library
A rosject is a project packaged as a .zip (code, notes, notebooks, simulation settings): exactly what Projects → Download as .zip gives, so anything you or a student exports can go here. Drag .zip files onto the box, then share them with a class from the class page.
Workspaces not in a class
Older quick sessions (no web desktop — stop them)

Add workspaces
Or create one workspace per student from a list (makes their accounts)
One line per student: username, password, display name — password and name are optional.
Uses the type and software chosen above.

Rosjects shared with this class
Sharing copies the project into every workspace here (it shows up in their Projects) and into workspaces you add later. Sharing it again puts the original files back over any a student changed.
Progress
Per workspace: who has it, how much it was used, and what is in the hand-in folder right now.
Download CSVFiles
Copies files into the receive folder of every workspace in this class — running, asleep or stopped. A .zip is unpacked. Workspaces you add later get these files automatically. Students can also upload from, and download to, their own computer with Files in their desktop.
Copies the hand-in folder of every workspace into your class folder on the server, one sub-folder per workspace. Each collection is kept separately; browse and download them under My class folder.
Collected so far
Your own folder for this class: . Materials you sent and everything collected live here.
Students & grades
One row per student: the account that holds a workspace in this class. Each exercise is marked out of 10 from the student's Check my work presses (their best attempt counts). Click a score to see every attempt, override it, or leave a comment. Add your own items (a viva, a report) and mark them by hand. Nothing here is shown to students.
Storage pool
Give the class one pool of disk, then divide it among its workspaces. One student cannot be given more than the pool has left, and a class cannot have different storage rules for different people outside what you set here.
Student files
Browse and read a student's files, read-only, whether or not they are online: their home folder is opened in a sealed helper that cannot change anything. Each file you open is written to the Activity log. To work live in their workspace, use Open on the Workspaces tab.
Connections between students
By default no workspace can reach another — not by network, not by file — so classmates cannot share answers or message each other during an assessment. You can open a channel between two particular workspaces (even from different classes): files lets them send each other files from the Files app (copied by the server, size-limited, logged); network puts just those two on a private network with no other route. Every change, every file sent and every refused attempt appears under Activity.
Allow a channel
Share with another class
Copies this class's materials into another class's folder and sends them to its workspaces. Logged in both classes.
Activity
Everything that moved between people in this class, and everything you looked at. Network packets are not recorded (that needs firewall access this server does not give Prism); contact is controlled instead — sealed by default, opened per pair above.
Users
Accounts sign in here and at their instances' addresses.

My workspaces
Open one; it wakes up in a few seconds if it was asleep.
Quick sessions
Workspaces you start yourself. Removed when stopped; your home folder is kept.
